Your yard is an extension of your home. In Las Vegas it can be the room you use most: a shaded spot to cook on the grill, a fire to sit around when the desert cools off at night, somewhere to watch the game or a movie, and open space for the kids and the dogs. We design and build the whole thing as one project, so the patio, the kitchen, the fire feature, the lighting and the turf all work together.
What an outdoor living space can include
- Covered patios and pergolas. Shade is the first thing a Las Vegas backyard needs. We build attached patio covers, free-standing pergolas and louvered roofs over paver or travertine floors.
- Outdoor kitchens. Built-in grill islands with counters, storage, refrigeration, pizza ovens and bar seating. See our outdoor kitchen design and installation page for layouts.
- Fire pits, fire tables and fireplaces. Gas or wood, round or linear, with seat walls built in. We also convert existing wood fire pits to gas. More on our outdoor fire pits page.
- Artificial turf play areas. Green space for kids and dogs that stays green in August and never needs water. See artificial turf installation.
- Landscape lighting. Path, wall and tree lighting so the space works after sunset, when you actually use it. See custom exterior lighting.
- Water features and pool surrounds. Waterfalls, wall fountains and paver pool decks. See water feature design.

How we design it
We start at your house, not from a catalog. On the free estimate we walk the yard with you and talk about how you want to use it: dinner for six, a crowd on game day, a quiet spot for two, a safe lawn for a toddler. Then we lay out the space around those moments.
A few things we pay attention to on every project:
- Sun and shade. West-facing patios bake in the afternoon. Cover placement, roof style and tree choices decide whether you can sit outside at 5 p.m. in July.
- Traffic flow. The grill, the table and the door should line up so nobody carries a platter across the whole yard.
- Gas and electrical. We plan the lines for the kitchen, the fire feature and the lighting before the pavers go down, not after.
- Materials that survive the desert. Pavers and travertine over wood decking, stainless and stone over anything that fades or warps.

Built in phases if you want
Not every backyard happens at once. Many of our clients start with the patio cover and floor, then add the kitchen the next year and the fire pit after that. If that is your plan, tell us on the first visit. We will rough in the gas and power now so the later phases do not mean tearing anything up. Financing is also available on larger projects; ask about it at your estimate.
