Lake Las Vegas is a 3,600-acre resort community built around a private 320-acre lake on the east side of Henderson, and its homes are built to a standard: Mediterranean architecture, hillside lots with views, golf-course frontage and design guidelines that protect all of it. We build landscapes that fit the setting and pass the review.
What we build in Lake Las Vegas
- Terraces, retaining walls and steps that turn a sloped lot into usable levels
- Travertine and tumbled-paver patios, courtyards and driveways in the warm tones the community guidelines call for
- Outdoor living: covered patios, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire tables placed for the lake and mountain views
- Water features, from wall fountains in a courtyard to waterfalls spilling into a pool
- Landscape lighting for entries, trees, walls and the view terrace
- Mediterranean, low-water planting: olives, cypress, rosemary, lavender, bougainvillea, agaves and ornamental grasses on drip
- Paver sealing and pressure washing for travertine and pavers that have taken a few summers of sun

Designing for the lake
Three things shape a Lake Las Vegas yard. The slope: most lots step down or up from the street, so walls, terraces and drainage are part of nearly every design. The wind: it comes off the water and across the hills, so patio covers and pergolas are engineered for it and plants are chosen to take it. The view: every seating area, fire feature and light fixture is placed to keep the lake and the mountains in frame.
Lake Las Vegas yards also carry a style. The master plan is Mediterranean, and the design guidelines hold to it: earth-toned pavers and travertine, stucco and stone, wrought iron, clay tones, a restrained plant palette. We design inside those lines and bring the samples to the review.

Design review
The Lake Las Vegas master association and the sub-associations in SouthShore, MonteLago Village and the hillside neighborhoods each review landscaping changes. We prepare the site plan, material and color samples, plant list and lighting plan the submittal needs, and we schedule construction after approval.
Rebates
Lake Las Vegas is inside the City of Henderson, so a grass conversion earns the SNWA rebate plus Henderson's supplement. Full rules are on our water rebates page.
