The Las Vegas sun fades pavers. Oil, rust, hard water and desert dust stain them. Sealing stops both. We clean and seal existing pavers to make them look new again by restoring their color and protecting the surface, and it costs far less than removing your pavers and putting down new ones.

Two reasons people call us
New pavers. We push for sealing pavers while they are new, before they start to fade and pick up stains. A sealed paver sheds spills instead of soaking them in, so the color you paid for stays. We seal our own installations and pavers other contractors laid.
Old, faded pavers. If your driveway or patio has gone chalky and gray, we quote a full renewal: deep clean, repair, re-sand and seal. In most cases the color comes back and the surface looks close to the day it went in.
Surfaces we seal
- Pavers: patios, walkways, pool decks and driveways
- Driveways, including vehicle-rated sealers that stand up to hot tires
- Block walls, retaining walls and raised planters
- Concrete patios, steps and sidewalks
- Stone veneer on walls, columns, kitchens and fire pits
- Travertine and natural stone
What sealing does
- Restores color. Faded pavers get their tone back, in a natural look or a wet look, your choice.
- Blocks stains. Oil, grease, rust, fertilizer and hard-water spots sit on top of the sealer instead of soaking into the paver.
- Locks the joint sand. Polymeric sand hardened by the sealer keeps pavers from shifting and keeps weeds and ants out of the joints.
- Slows UV fade. The sealer takes the sun so the paver does not have to.
- Makes cleaning easy. A hose does what a pressure washer used to.

Our process
- Inspect. We check for efflorescence (the white haze on newer pavers), old failed sealer, stains, sunken areas and loose pavers, and tell you what the job needs.
- Clean. We pressure wash with a surface cleaner, treat stains and strip old sealer where it is peeling. Efflorescence gets its own cleaner.
- Repair and re-sand. We re-set loose pavers, then sweep in fresh polymeric sand and compact it.
- Dry and seal. The surface has to be fully dry. We apply the sealer evenly in the right conditions, no direct sun on a hot surface, no wind blowing dust into it.
- Cure. Foot traffic in about a day, vehicles in two to three days depending on the product and the weather.

When to seal, and how often
New pavers should settle and shed any efflorescence first, which usually means a few months after installation. After that, most Las Vegas driveways and patios want a fresh coat every three to five years. Full-sun driveways are at the short end of that range; shaded patios at the long end. We will tell you which yours is.
Cheaper than replacing
Tearing out and relaying a paver driveway is a multi-day job with new materials. Cleaning and sealing the pavers you already have is usually a one- to two-day job at a fraction of the cost, and it is the first thing we recommend to anyone who is unhappy with how their pavers look. If the base has failed and the pavers are sinking, we will tell you that too and quote a paver repair or installation instead. Financing is available on larger restoration and repair projects; ask about it at your estimate.
